The Integration Seminar is the internal name for a recurring structured communication program at a major international company in the energy sector. Every edition gathers 40 to 48 participants from across the company, divided into eight teams of five to six people. Each team gets a strategic prompt from the executive committee. They have to build and deliver a presentation that same afternoon. Five minutes. No slides. Ten minutes of Q&A right after. Before I was brought in, the executive committee was finding the presentations too superficial. The content was not the real question: they are experts in their fields. What they needed was the structure to carry that expertise. My job was to build the method to do that.
